In Mysterious Egypt, there are two ways to win. Regular left to right line wins, and expanding symbols that pay anywhere. All symbols are Egyptian in nature. On the low side, 9-A tiles are nicely decorated with little icons like Ankhs, while the high pays consist of birds, cats, followed by a golden pyramid, followed by the Eye of Horus. A full five of a kind premium win pays 75 to 500 times your stake.

In any ‘Book’ game, the scatter/wild symbol is one of the most important. Instead of the book symbol in Mysterious Egypt, we get an elaborately designed queen symbol, decorated with gold snakes and whatnot. In her wild role, she substitutes any symbol, except for expanded symbols, to complete a winning combination.
