Golden Scrolls
Golden Scrolls review
As a Slotmill release, Golden Scrolls offers a variety of gameplay options. The standard choice is to place a bet between 20 c and $/€80 per spin and try to trigger the parchment feature. Other ways to play can be found on the Fast Track menu, including Burst Mode, which will be discussed below. The default return-to-player rate is 95.2%, and additional rates will be revealed soon. However, do not be deceived by the laid-back atmosphere - Golden Scrolls' mathematical model boasts a high volatility rating.
Initially, it should be noted that each reel allows for only one wild symbol at a time. The standard wild serves the simple purpose of replacing any of the pay symbols, just like the other two wilds do. However, when the Expanding Wild appears, it expands downwards and covers every position on the grid with its wild effect. With each position it covers, the multiplier increases by +1, reaching a maximum of x6. On the other hand, the Golden Expanding Wild expands in both directions – up and down – until it fills the entire reel. This specific wild always carries an x6 multiplier. In cases where more than one expanded wild is part of a winning combination, their multiplier values are combined before being applied. It's worth noting that all three types of wilds hold an equivalent value to that of the top-paying symbol whenever they contribute to winning lines.
In the event of a Super Bonus scatter symbol appearing during free spins, the remaining free spins will be upgraded to super free spins and +2 additional spins will be awarded. Alternatively, landing 2 scatters and a super scatter in the base game awards 8 super free spins. All wilds during the super free spins feature are Golden Expanding Wild symbols. For each +1 Spin symbol that lands, the feature is extended by 1 free spin.
